On September 9th, 48 companies participated in the a Hackathon in ISRAEL. The purpose of the hackathon was to connect participants and identify business benefits and opportunities unused resources. More than 250 resources were found, and 371 potentials matches were identified. The Hackathon provided participants with a basis for making connections as a result, a series of innovative partnerships have been identified between the participants.

Companies were from different sectors, many from the Plastic industries, as well as research and innovation entities. The availability of resources were low, and very few resources were of biomass sources. Start-ups were participating but their technology was in a very early stage.

Workshop organised and conducted together with Naaman Institute. As stated above many potential matches were found, very limited using biomass. Some activities are now continuing between the partners without our involvement, of which we are not aware.
