The workshop entitled “HORIZONT 2020, Social Challenges - Selected Projects with Czech Participation” was held as part of the accompanying program of the international agricultural trade fair Země Živitelka 2019 in České Budějovice on 22 August 2019.

Petr Horak from the WIRELESSINFO introduced the ENABLING project and presented main ENABLING tools – The Best Practices Atlas, The Biomass Trade Platform and Coaching Services. Presentation [2.3 MB] . He also presented examples of best practices.

The main Wirelessinfo guest, Viera Šottníková from Mendel university in Brno, presented in detail the best practice Comprehensive use of biowaste from wine production. Presentation [1.7 MB]

At the end of the workshop we discussed possibilities of presentations other best practices and involvement other stakeholders in the project outputs.

Very important contacts with policy makers from Pilsen region has been created during the workshop. New contacts have been established with the Technological Agency, Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, National Rural Network.
