Workshop at Energy and Rural Business Ireland


This workshop is aimed at improving the revenue of farmers by increasing the prospects of rural business in Ireland. Innovative Technologies and Government schemes to support farmers were presented.

Celignis presented the concept of anaerobic digestion biorefinery, where technologies can be integrated to produce multiple product streams from single feedstock.

Celignis exhibited ENABLING poster and gave a talk to >50 audience. Celignis took part in panel discussion to identify the issues with increasing the rural business and how it can be overcome. The panel discussion is focused on anaerobic digestion as a tool for farmers to increase their revenue streams.

Participants gained knowledge on anaerobic digestion as a tool to produce multiple products (fertilisers, animal beddings, textiles, etc) and the influence of feedstock composition and technology integration to produce these products.
